History

Founded in July 2026, Crownstone was established with a clear purpose: to provide accessible, practical and career-focused education for learners from a wide range of backgrounds.

Our management team brings more than 80 years of collective experience across education and training, including further education, widening participation and publicly funded provision. This experience includes work connected with HEFCE, the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), the Office for Students (OfS) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), including the management of publicly funded education and training contracts.

We believe learning should be relevant, flexible and focused on real progression. Our aim is to help learners build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills they need to move forward in their careers and achieve their personal goals.

Crownstone is also firmly rooted in the communities we serve. We are committed to widening participation, creating opportunities and supporting learners at different stages of life, including mature learners returning to education, retraining or seeking new career opportunities.

As Crownstone continues to grow, our focus remains on quality, opportunity and learner success. We want to make a lasting and positive difference to the lives of our learners and the wider communities in which we work.
